Coffee / Rwanda Kinini

We are finishing out this month with a very lovely coffee from Rwanda. Producers Jacquie Turner and Malcolm Clear started the Kinini Co-op in 2017 with the hope to provide more valuable opportunities for the small farms in their region. The farmers of this co-op were the first to grow coffee Rulindo district, and the incredible work that took place from the initial planting, through targeted agronomic support, and careful processing at the Kinini wet mill, means that quality has been carefully controlled from the very start of the project. The cherries for this specific lot, harvested from the villages of of Tumba and Mageragere, bring forward notes of bright citrus and ripe berries.

What is the Featured Coffee Flight?

Coffee is an extremely diverse beverage that can be enjoyed many different ways. The idea behind our featured flight is to show the unique qualities that different brew methods can highlight in a specific coffee. Whether you’re a devout espresso lover or you like to keep it simple with a cup of drip, this flight will give you a chance to experience the best parts of some of our favorite coffees from our guest roasters every month.
